    hp serial changed after repairing

It sounds like he may have changed the whole MB out because the dv 7227cl and dv6 are very similar in terms of specs. The only difference I could find between the two was in the screens, the dv 7227cl is a bigger laptop with a 17.3 inch screen, and the dv6 has a 15 inch screen. This also bleeds...

    i can't install windows 7 on gigabyte motherboard GA-A320M-DS2

Sorry to say but Microsoft does not support Windows 7 for Ryzen. You'll have to install Windows 10 if you want to proceed. Otherwise you'll run into issues that you described where your mouse and keyboard don't work because Windows 7 does not have the drivers to support Ryzen.

My Replacement Fans are Louder Than My Stock Ones.

It could be that the Noctua fans have a higher range, say 1200-2000RPM, and your old case fans had an 800-1200RPM range. Your BIOS sets the fans at a certain speed based on voltage or % of max fan speed, so let's say 70% for example, your old fans would be running at 1200 X .70 = 840RPM, while...

Should i buy a new GPU that was briefly used for 10 hours of mining?

If you're going through a service like Ebay that tends to side with the buyer on returns I would say go ahead. If you're setting up the transaction through a forum or less reputable way, I would say stay away. My concern is that if there is any chance that the GPU does not work, you want a...

    Mid 2018 laptop for university

You may want to wait to closer to your birthday for a recommendation. I think a lot more laptops will be refreshed\released with 8th gen intel processors by then. Not that they are the end all be all, but you may also score a great deal on a 7th gen intel laptop with companies trying to make way...

GPU 750 TI unable to overclock (supposedly a 750ti). Is my GPU fake?

I am pretty sure it is a fake as well. When looking at the shroud it is a red flag that the fans have no branding. Also fake GPU's with similar, if not the same fan shroud, was the subject of someone's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gc6gDaXD1us (See 1:00).

    crypto mining build

The CPU usually is not all that important in mining builds because most mining is completely GPU dependent and does not stress\use the CPU at all. I have not done it myself, but I read a few guides saying that they pair a decent Z270 board ( mostly for the PCIE ports and stability for power...

The Tom's Hardware F@H Team Thread (Team 40051)

I'm in too! You know if the cryptocurrency market keeps on taking a dive maybe we can convince some miners to fold for a bit.... Either that or pigs will fly, take your choice.

    Available graphics cards

As Blackbird said everything is scarily overpriced. Even GTX 1080's, which were once a safe haven from cryptocurrency mining, have become very appealing to crypto miners looking to mine equihash algorithm coins like Zcash because they do not have any scaling issues. Best bet would be to go...

What is this Header on my Motherboard?

It does look like a PCI-E x 1 slot. If this picture comes from a propritary system like Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc., the port could be marked for an extra media card reader or a USB hub that attaches to the front of the case.
