I've tried the monitor on another system, so I know that's not the problem. I can't imagine it's the gpu if the system is rebooting.

No, there was no hyperlink. Taking off spyware and malware (and possibly CCleaner) seems to have helped, though I might put Malwarebytes back on as the free version doesn't stay loaded in memory like Super Antispyware does (making it the more likely culprit). Thanks for the help :)
