    don't worry, there is no such issue. You can build it anywhere. I to do all these jobs sitting (or half-lying) on my bed, which is also wooden.

    AMD Radeon's build is pretty good. Though I would suggest a Sapphire R9 270x which has 4 gigs of VRAM. It will help u in your 2 monitor set-up.

    What I forgot to mention is the machine is mainly for gaming. And I want it to be future-proof, at least for next 3 years. Apart from gaming, I plan to record some game-play video, learn photoshop CS-6 and do some matlab, R programming.

    If you are ready to spend 170-180 buck for your processor, I would say, go for AMD Fx 8320. Its hell lot better than both the processors you mentioned.

    you can directly run fans from your PSU. No need to connect it with the motherboard. Rather you must not connect extra fans with motherboard, since it makes unnecessary current-flow through Mobo which have an effect in its longivity. So, connect both your case fans with your PSU
