    Question I my PSU dying?

Of course I did reinstall windows from scratch :), and the latest BIOS has been "ezflashed" even before that. As for the PSU purchase date I cannot find the mail nor the bill. So either it was with my previous motherboard purchase in 2015 or somewhere after the previous one purchased in 2010.

    Question I my PSU dying?

Hi, Technically it's my 1080ti that seems to be dying, but with the current scarcity and prices on the graphics card market, I want to make 110% sure :). My whole system is new, replaced a week ago, except for the Corsair RM 650 PSU and the 1080ti. Today the PC suddenly froze with a white...

    Bad sectors on HDD

Hello, One of my hard drives, a WD Green 4 TB, has developed bad sectors. I am using it for archiving movies and photos. I do not care about recovering the data, I want to flag these sectors as bad and risk using the HD a bit longer. The symptoms are that some movies just hang, and only after...

    Logitech G15 vs G19 questions

In reply to my own post, in case anyone would wonder about the same things. I bought a G19 to replace my G15 v1, so here goes: The backlighting is MUCH brighter than on the old G15. At the same time, it is not like on the marketing pictures, it is not as bright and blinding as neon lights. Just...

    Logitech G15 vs G19 questions

But they are using the new G15 v2, right? How bright are the keys? I can barely see them on my G15 v1. The G510 looks weird. Like a mix between the G19 and and the G15 v1. But from the looks of it, it has a small black and white screen the same size as the G19, e.g. no color, low resolution...

    Logitech G15 vs G19 questions

Hi, My G15 v1 (blue, tiltable display) is getting old. I am thinking of replacing it and the G19 is an option. Now I would like some feedback from people who went from a G15 to a G19. 1. Backlighting: The G15 v1 has greyish key labels that don't show much contrast in "daylight" conditions...

Silencing the GTX-480 and airflow questions

Well, here are the pics: Without the extra intake fan: With an extra intake fan (120mm Enermax Everest, 1000 RPM, 46 CFM, 12 dB): The extra fan *seems* to reduce temp by 2°C, but it may as well be inside the margin of error. Anyway, the card runs rather hot, at idle it is at around 56°C...

Silencing the GTX-480 and airflow questions

Hi, I am trying to make my GTX-480 more silent. I have an Antec P182 silent case, Noctua CPU ventirad and case fans, 2 HDs, and 1m away from the PC I need to look at the LEDs to make sure it is turned on. Until I run a graphics intensive game that is. My GTX-280 was already very loud, but this...
