Question RTX 2060 getting too hot?

No, I don't think I OC'd the BCLK. Don't even really know what that is. With the case open, I saw a 6 degree temp difference (Max 77 degrees). When I loaded BIOS defaults, the temp still climbed to 83 degrees Celsius, just a tiny bit slower than before. Do you think that if I got a stronger...

Question RTX 2060 getting too hot?

My GPU isn't overclocked but my CPU is, from 4.0 to 4.3 Ghz, but temps don't go higher than 75 degrees Celsius in most situations. I updated the BIOS recently around a month ago. I read the temps using MSI Afterburner. There's one fan in the lower front section of the case, an 80 mm fan...

Question RTX 2060 getting too hot?

In some more demanding games, my EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 KO ULTRA GAMING slowly but surely climbs up to 84-85 degrees Celsius, and I am worried that if I played, for longer it cold continue to climb still. My fans are at high speeds, making my PC fairly loud already in demanding games. Do I have a...

[SOLVED] Upgrading radiator fan worth it?

I'm trying to OC my i3-8350k, but at the temperatures my liquid cooler caps out at, I can only get it to around 4.3 GHz. I'm on a budget at the moment, and started wondering if I could just upgrade the case fan on the radiator. Would a faster fan make my liquid cooler more efficient?

Question Would it be worth it to upgrade from an i3-8350K to an i7-8700T?

I have some stuttering issues in a few games, and I was thinking that if I upgraded my 4 core i3 to something with more cores, the stuttering would be diminished. I'm still on a budget, however, and all of the i5s I saw were 6 cores, which I wasn't sure was enough to get rid of the stuttering...

[SOLVED] Performance with 3 sticks of ram

Yeah, if I do end up doing this I'm planning on playing it safe and getting the exact same model of memory I already have (Ballistix Sport LT 4GB Single DDR4 2666 MT/s, BLS4G4D26BFSB). This should be the exact same as my current RAM, but I'll check the model number later just to make sure.

[SOLVED] Performance with 3 sticks of ram

So I've heard you can use 3 sticks of ram on your motherboard, but I've also heard it could decrease performance because you have to use one stick in single channel mode. My question is, if ram usage stays under 8gb (assuming there are 2x4gb sticks running in dual channel and one 4gb stick...

Question Possible that faulty outlet or electrical system could be causing stuttering in games?

I've heard some monitors can be the cause of micro stuttering, but in my case stutters can be as bad as a freeze up for 1 whole second. Is it really possible for a monitor to cause this much stuttering? My monitor can go up to 75 Hz, but I usually use it at 60 Hz (which is its native refresh rate).

Question Possible that faulty outlet or electrical system could be causing stuttering in games?

Ever since I first started desktop gaming around 3 years ago, I have noticed a huge stuttering issue in modern games. Even now with my new PC, there is less stuttering, but it is still apparent and annoying. It's like the issue was transferred to an entirely new rig. A year ago I ditched my GTX...

    Selling gaming PC without Windows?

I recently upgraded from my old mid range gaming PC by building a new one, and I used the Windows 10 activation code from the old one to use for my new computer. I'm planning on selling my old PC, and I'm wondering, should I buy Windows for it or just sell it without an operating system?

Do VR games have graphics settings?

I've been thinking about getting a Oculus Rift and I meet the minimum requirements, however my graphics card, a GTX 960, only has 2gb of VRAM. This wouldn't be a problem if I could turn down texture settings and whatnot in-game, but do most VR games allow this?
