Is a 24-inch monitor too small for 4K?

Well, based on what everyone else here has said, I figured it would be wise to go with a 24" Dell UP2414Q 4K monitor.

So that means there's blur for 1080p but not for 4K? 4K just remains ultra sharp?

Is a 24-inch monitor too small for 4K?

Ok. Well, I just noticed something recently. I'm using a 1080p monitor (currently), when I tried scaling up the text and UI as the words looked pint-sized, immediately everything became enlarged but VERY, VERY blurry.

After all, pixel density increases color accuracy/ sharpness/ picture quality right?

Is a 24-inch monitor too small for 4K?

Uh-huh. Linkdrive, what I'm referring to is... Does a 24-inch screen @ 3840x2160 with a PPI of 185+ have the same, if not higher quality than a 31 inch screen @3840x2160 with a PPI of 140?

Is a 24-inch monitor too small for 4K?

Yes, wait, but my question is: Does screen size affect image quality?

Is a 24-inch monitor too small for 4K?

I'll be using 3 GTX 780 Tis, all of them Origin Cryogenic liquid-cooled and factory overclocked.

Is a 24-inch monitor too small for 4K?

Does that mean there's not much difference between 2560x1440 and 4K? Not enough difference to pay another $2000 for?

Is a 24-inch monitor too small for 4K?

How would Dell UP2414Q compare to Asus PQ321Q? Larger screen size= Higher image quality, right? I'm mostly gaming

Well! But does scaling affect resolution and image quality?

    1440p v 4k

Now don't take it that I'm saying anything bad about 4k, in fact it would be really awesome to have an Asus PQ321Q, but sadly now it's not that affordable

    1440p v 4k

Remember when people thought 1440p monitors were expensive 2 years ago? And if they had tried to wait to get the price as it is now, there're already next-gen 4K monitors at our disposal. Waiting never pays. Either get it now, or settle for something inferior.

    1440p v 4k

I'm not saying DisplayPort 1.2 is bad, it's just that not many people own DisplayPort 1.2 connectors nowadays as opposed to HDMI!!! And the way this is gonna work out, even if 4K monitors keep getting cheaper, by the time you see a $1000 32" 4K monitor get released, 8K 120Hz 3D IPS monitors...

    Really urgent question! Please help!

So.... Scaling up text and such doesn't affect native resolution image quality?

    Really urgent question! Please help!

But it seems like 24 inches is too small for 4K? Then I would have to upscale the resolution to make icons and text bigger, which would drastically affect resolution and screen clarity as well?
