Is there A LOT of noticeable difference between 1440p (2560x1440) and 2160p (3840x2160) resolution? Please help, I need this information quick as I am about to choose between a 27-inch 1440p Asus IPS monitor or a 24-inch 2160p Dell IPS monitor.

Solution
I assume you're talking about the UP2414Q? With 3 780 tis, you should be able to take advantage of the higher resolution. Sounds like a sweet setup. Plus on the Dell, 1080p content will look better than it would scaled up on a 1440p monitor.
I'm going to be using 3 GTX 780 Tis (all overclocked and water-cooled) so it should be no problem handling 4K and maxed settings at 60fps. The Dell is a 60Hz monitor. Just wondering..?
Plus, I can't afford the Asus PQ321Q (31.5 inch, 4K IPS w/ 60Hz) as it's $3799 and my system is already pushing the $8000 limit!

But it seems like 24 inches is too small for 4K? Then I would have to upscale the resolution to make icons and text bigger, which would drastically affect resolution and screen clarity as well?

You would leave the resolution at native and scale up text and UI elements in the OS until they look how you want them to.
