I plugged in the 4 pin connector to the PCIE card. My BIOS was at the latest version which is FD with BIOS date 02.26.2016 but I still flashed it anyways. When the BIOS flash completed I selected the option to power off but the computer still rebooted after shutting down. What should I try next?

I never really noticed it but I'll take a look when I get home and update the thread.

I'll look into doing that later when I get home. I didn't plug in the power connector since the CSR that sold me the card said it would get power from the PCIE port on the board. My PSU also does not have the 4 pin connector to plug into the card.

I only have 1 HDMI output from my GPU, the other ports are DVI and DPI. I tested my other two laptops on the same input port on the monitor and it works fine. What's puzzling to me is that I never had this issue on my previous monitor which still works.

The drive isn't fragmented

When I changed the folder location and transferred a single file the file speed transferred quicker momentarily at 50MB/s then the file speed dropped back to 8MB/s Currently analyzing my laptop hard drive

The source of both files came from my downloads folder on my laptop but I will stop the transfer and move the location to see if it affects the transfer speed
