    [SOLVED] massive m.2 monstrosity mania

The use would be mainly moving around tons of video and photos files, 4k and maybe in the future 8k video editing and rendering, and Adobe Lightroom. Would these parts do the trick?

    [SOLVED] massive m.2 monstrosity mania

Alright, I've decided to go the threadripper path, so I'll get a 2950x, combined with the Gigabyte X399 AORUS PRO ATX Motherboard, 32 gigs of hyperx predator DDR4 RAM and 6TB (3 individual sticks ) Corsair Force mp510 storage. All three cards would be used on the Asus hyper v2. Would this work...

Okay why not? Would it be possible to use them in a RAID?

    [SOLVED] massive m.2 monstrosity mania

Okay guys, so can you tell me whether this would work; I buy the Asus hyper v2 card, put it under the GPU in a slot that would inevitably be running at 8x, and install 2 2TB NVMes, each running at 4x. Then, I take a third 2TB NVMe and install it directly in one of the m.2 slots on the...

    [SOLVED] massive m.2 monstrosity mania

i just need 6TB in nvme. I could combine 2 nvmes on a 16x slot running at 8x and put one 2TB nvme on the motherboard if that works. I'm just trying to find out IF that works

    [SOLVED] massive m.2 monstrosity mania

Yeah, but I'd like to stay with the 9900k. So, any chance I could use the motherboard provided slots as well as a hyper card running on 8x, or is it still impossible cuz of the CPU?

    [SOLVED] massive m.2 monstrosity mania

That's all well and good, but I just need a motherboard that'll support three or at least 2 16x slots. Any suggestions?

    [SOLVED] massive m.2 monstrosity mania

Hey everyone, So I've been instructed to build a PC for my dad, who absolutely refuses to get something which won't last for the next two decades or so, so future proofing and expandability are very important. He needs it mostly for Lightroom, so a more cpu based build would be appropriate, I...

    Question So much damn power

Hey everyone, So I'm getting a new PC and am building it with a combination of new and used parts. I'm planning to get the Rtx 2080TI gaming X trio by MSI, but what's troubling me is the fact that the damn thing uses 16+6 pin cables. Where on Earth do I get that? So far all I've seen is modular...

    Question All about the pins..

Dear community, So I've been having quite a time with my new (used) RX Vega 64 sapphire. I expected it to run like a 1080, but am getting the same performance as I did with my 1060!! This really pissed me off but I couldn't do anything about it. It's always at 60% usage when playing Apex legends...

Question HUGE problem with RX Vega 64

Stabilsation is not my issue. I get slightly better performance when manually undervolting, but still nothing compared to what I should be getting. Both settings are stable though, my only worry is why it's under performing so badly. I will try and plug it into a friend's PC, see if that makes...

Question HUGE problem with RX Vega 64

I undervolted the GPU, so yes, it is overclocked. The ans are completely clean and run smoothly. Ill revert to stock settings and try again now. Perhaps it is the PSU, but shouldn't 750 watts be more than enough? Anyway, wouldn't insufficient power result in different problems such as shutdowns...
