Only in games, and when I run the OCCT VRAM test. No other crashing during normal use or any other stress testing.

    Question RX 6700XT failing VRAM

The PSU is less than 4 years old. It's always kept dust free. Running a stress test with GPU and CPU at max power draw surprisingly don't crash the system. I actually have no idea what the BIOS version is. The motherboard was bought used about 3 years ago when I migrated to SFF. Do you think...

    Question RX 6700XT failing VRAM

For the past week or so my PC had been crashing constantly during games. I wouldn't get a BSOD, it would just go straight to a black screen, sometimes immediately restarting, sometimes staying on with a black screen until I manually power cycled it. Windows event viewer also never showed any...

Question Power supply slowly killing components?

A quick update on my situation would be that I RMAd my PSU and they actually confirmed that the unit was actually faulty and gave me a replacement unit. After changing it I'm still getting crashes on Furmark after the GPU has enough time to heat up, although the max temp the die reaches is 70...

Question Power supply slowly killing components?

Update: Just flashed the card and unfortunately no luck. The card dies as soon as any moderate load is applied.

Question Power supply slowly killing components?

I was considering re-flashing but I was worried that the GPU might crash halfway through and brick the card. I guess It really wouldn't make a difference at this point. I'll give it a try and will update on how it goes. Thanks for the idea.

Question Power supply slowly killing components?

After 2 years of serving me well, right after the warranty period has ended, my RTX 2080 has bit the dust. It now has artifacts even with very low load, and Furmark crashes the system within a minute. Knowing that two years is a very short lifespan for a card, I'm worried that my power supply...

    [SOLVED] Upgrading advice needed

A 2nd 970 would just be extra headache. The performance gain from running SLI at this day and age is second to none unfortunately. Best bet is to just save up for a better GPU :) In the meantime, since you mention your 970 is running very hot, it wouldn't be a bad idea to change the thermal...

[SOLVED] Ryzen 5 3600 high temps --- expected bios settings to be at fault

Wow, thanks for all the help! I put an -0.1v offset and my Cpu got THIRTEEN DEGREES cooler and I'm still getting more or less the same score in Cb R20!

[SOLVED] Ryzen 5 3600 high temps --- expected bios settings to be at fault

I kept an eye on the Cpu voltage during a stress test and it seems to not be going above 1.33 Volts which as you stated and the little research I did is completely normal for the Cpu :(

[SOLVED] Ryzen 5 3600 high temps --- expected bios settings to be at fault

Hi everyone, I recently upgraded from a Ryzen 3 1200 to a Ryzen 5 3600. In order to keep the old B350 motherboard I have I updated it with the Beta Bios MSI provides for 3rd gen Ryzen Cpus. Although the pc is working fine and all benchmark results are on par with the ones on the web, the Cpu is...

[SOLVED] Secondary gpu as primary output.

Thanks, I'll look into that! If I want to get 144hz through an adapter I'll have to buy an expensive active adapter which at that point it would just be better if I just bought a new monitor xP Just trying this as a last solution before I go out and spend money :D

[SOLVED] Secondary gpu as primary output.

It should, but unlike every screenshot I've seen on google my Control panel is missing the "Preferred graphics processor" option. I've also tried reinstalling drivers but that also didn't work :(

[SOLVED] Secondary gpu as primary output.

Could you please explain a bit more? I'm very confused about how running g-sync on amd relates to dual gpu systems. Sry xP
