well i tried using a single ram then the pc starts but doesnt display anything is there any solution for this ?

My pc takes a lot of time to startup ; it works pretty fast after startup and all the startup apps are loaded but it crashes when I run a game for long time or i use photoshop for a long time . The previous pc i had just has 2gb of ram which used to start in 2 seconds with windows 8 installed...
