hi,no it sticks,although the opening jingle sounds but there is still a blue sceen and no windows.....and i have to shut down and restart,which then gives options to restart in safe mode or start windows normally

hi,thanks for that,the original dell charger is noisy so i bought a new one off ebay which claimed to be genuine but clearly isnt. still need to suss out why it blue screens sometime on start up though,i was given the laptop with problems, i know its old but see it as a project to sort it...

hi,i have an asus 1015 pem netbook and i cant get into the bios,(trying to do a clean install of windows 7). i have tried using the del, esc key etc,all to no avail,is it worth removing the cmos battery?? looking forward to your thoughts on the matter.

well after leaving acronis running for about 12 hours i concluded this was never going to reach a conclusion so terminated the process,but then trying to reboot from the original drive found it would not,so i installed the new ssd into the netbook thinking all was lost.

hi,i have an asus eee pc 1015pem netbook and whilst migrating my os to a new ssd it failed and as a result i have lost my os(windows 7).will i need to buy a new os or can this be mitigated through microsoft? thanks in anticipation
