    [SOLVED] Motherboard won't lineup after putting IO shield, but line up perfectly fine without the IO shield?

    Using a B450M Pro4 AM4 and using a Cougar MX330 as my case. For some reason when I don't put the IO shield in the case it lines up perfectly fine, but when I put a IO shield in it doesn't line up. Is a IO shield even necessary? Besides dust protection.
