Question New motherboard and CPU - what do I need to do about Windows 11?

Hello! Thank you for this. Is it a better idea to install Windows 10 and then upgrade to 11, or just directly install Win 11? Im not sure if the new mobo will be eligible for Win 11 upgrade at first. About the rest - I probably won't backup anything as what I need was saved on a USB. So after...

Question New motherboard and CPU - what do I need to do about Windows 11?

Hello everyone! I am upgrading my motherboard, CPU and RAM in a few days. I was thinking to load up Win 11 on a bootable flash driver, however, as Win 11 is installed on my NVMe drive, and I will use the same 2 Drives as before, do I need to do anything? Or simply installing the Drive on the...

Question What would make brand-new RAM bench so poorly?

[Moderator Note: edited post to remove profanity.] ....... there is a small footnote in the User manual that explains this: "for 10th gen processors only Core i7/i9 CPUs support 2933 Natively, others will run at a maximum of 2666 MHz" ... Im on an i5, maybe its time to upgrade

Question What would make brand-new RAM bench so poorly?

After more testing the system posts at 2666Mhz but nothing even slightly above that. If my mobo supports 2933 surely I should be able to get there? And if the Mobo and memory are not compatible surely it won't even let me post at current settings?

That's interesting for sure and haven't thought about it. I only have the default One drive pre-installed but can't say that I use it. It's just there, maybe some stuff like photos and etc has gone there automatically. Can you please specify the process? Make a new account. Reinstall the PC...
