Sorry work took over for a few days. Okay, I've double checked the cables are properly connected, and I've tried disconnecting the HDD and just having the SSD in, and the BIOS doesn't find anything at all, so I believe it's the SSD that's the problem. I don't have another pc to put the SSD...
