I manged to fix the problem using Visual BCD Editor; there was an entry for an old installation of POP! OS in the boot config and I deleted it. The boot menu displays correctly now, maybe something about the name having spaces or non-usual characters caused the display to glitch out I guess.

I have a computer with a Z270 Killer SLI/ac motherboard from 2017. When I open the boot menu the graphical display is glitchy, I need to mouse over the text to get it to display and there are 2 lines of Chinese symbols displayed. What could cause this? Aside from this this there doesn't seem to...
