    Scratch that- I actually do remember the fix for this (if it is a Dell) It's your BIOS being out of date! If you can get your BIOS updated to the most current version it should resolve this.

    Could be the PSU if this is a Desktop. Power supplys can cause strange restarts like this all the time.

    You should post your PC's specs first because your PC Build is going to determine what RAM you should purchase. Also- RAM isn't quite as important as a good Video Card for gaming. It may help slightly but not as much as an upgraded Video Card will.
