Hi I'm new here so bear with me. I'm an 18 yr old guy and I need help. English is my secondary language so I cant speak well.

I just cleaned my computer's CPU (processor) heat sink and fan because I saw its full of dust and then when I put it back and turn it on, it makes a beeping sound. I reseated the cpu, gpu and ram and it boot normally.
but after that my screen resolution forcefully goes 1024x768 and after I log in my user acc on windows (10) I got a black screen with cursor. I tried pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete and clicked task manager, nothing happened. The task manager doesn't pop up. I reinstalled my windows 10 and clean installed it, still the problem exists.
I tried booting in safe mode and it boot normally, I can sign in windows and see my desktop but when I boot it normally after I signed in my acc it doesn't show anything but a black screen and cursor and still cant open task manager. After searching for solutions, I came up with a conclusion that the pc cant detect my video card and even my integrated gpu or there are no drivers installed. How do I fix this. Please help me. :<

Thanks in Advance.

Johann

go onto the web in safemode with networking enabled download the latest driver for whatever GPU you have installed then reboot, while downloading the driver look to see if your BIOS needs updating.

Are you using a Dell laptop by chance?

I've been seeing this issue a lot with Dell laptops in particular. This has to do with the Driver associated to the Graphics card being incompatible with Windows 10. I haven't found a guaranteed fix for this yet myself.

Even if you uninstall the Driver in safe mode Windows 10 will eventually reinstall it EVEN disconnected from the internet. I would recommend going back to that last operating system that worked for you until this issue has a fix made.

Scratch that- I actually do remember the fix for this (if it is a Dell)

It's your BIOS being out of date! If you can get your BIOS updated to the most current version it should resolve this.

Actually its a PC. Hp Compaq dc2355

when I checked the device manager in safe mode theres a yellow triangle above the generic non pnp monitor. Is it the one causing the problem?

Yes that symbol indicates that there is either a problem with that piece of hardware or the driver associated to it.
