    You can easily get rid of screen tearing by enabling VSYNC. That will lock your GPU to 60 fps, if it has de power to stay above them.     Look for reviews of the NH-D15S. It's an NH-D15 with only one fan. A bit cheaper, too, so if you are thinking about mounting only one fan it's worth a shot.
