Exactly what I was looking for. Spent all day trying to figure this out and like others thought I had a bad mobo. Where exactly can we find the F4 bios update? All I can see on the Gigabyte support page in bios is for the release version. Any links would be great. Thanks for the effort :)

Currently a z270f but i know that the 7700k is the best i could put in this. I was looking at the B550 mobos but no idea what cpu to pair it with that will last a good few years

Currently running an i7 7700k and looking at upgrading to pair with the 3080 when its released. 6 or 8 cores? Some good bang for buck but also something that will last a good few years. Open to both intel and AMD. I mostly just game and will be looking at playing all games at 1440p @ 144hz...

Again, thanks for the advice. I fully agree the 7700k wasnt the best buy in 2017 ha, we live and learn huh. Ill more than likely wait until Q1 21 to see whats what. I do like the look of the 10600k and z490, but seriosly considering Ryzen too, ive never had any experience with AMD in the past.

Im running 1440p @ 144hz The cpu and mobo will no doubt getting upgraded end of the year or beginning of 2021 so no rush on that front.
