ok i figured it out windows grabbed the wrong driver for my motherboards ethernet, i went to msi website and got the most up to date driver. problem solved thanks for trying to help.

my motherboard has crossfire it's a gigabyte z170m d3h it could be that my card isn't enough to saturate the pcie lanes

the problem might be that your card doesn't like to get hot, has it been doing this for a while
