I have no experience with AMD and their processors. I know the Ryzen line is new but have not read anything about their reliability. The i7 series has been out for a while and I feel has proven itself. I'm not saying I'm against AMD, I just don't know enough about them to make an informed decision.

I bought a Vizio 50" 4K and it has one specific HDMI port for 4K at 60hz. If you go the TV route you need to make sure you get a HDMI 2.0 because the 1.5 will only allow 30hz transmission where as the 2.0 allows the full 60hz.
