Intel is commonly considered the best option out of the two, but it's really up to your own preferences. Personally, I'd say go with Intel.

Yes 2 gigs will be fine, all brands are quite good, ASUS, Gigabyte, EVGA and MSI are the big names, so any card from these brands will be great.

Your very welcome, enjoy that awesome game! Oh and always check for PhysX, I have a GTX 780Ti, and Assassins Creed IV has problems with PhysX on high, it's really a GPU killer.

Personally, I own a MSI Gaming GPU. Im happy with it, so that will be my advice. But be sure to get one with a reference cooler (fans) so it remains kinda cool and you don't need to buy extra fans and stuff. Good luck!

Maybe your PhysX is turned on or high, that can really slow down the game. I believe it's he lowest option on the graphical settings screen.
