[SOLVED] Monitor seems "burned" and "glitchy" through Displayport, but works just fine in HDMI.

Got in contact with Samsung Repair. Seems like my warranty didn't go out after all! Sending it in. If somebody has this problem in the future, this was my solution LoL!

[SOLVED] Monitor seems "burned" and "glitchy" through Displayport, but works just fine in HDMI.

I could try airblasting the ports to see if it does anything. Will get back to you soon. UPDATE: Doesn't work.

[SOLVED] Monitor seems "burned" and "glitchy" through Displayport, but works just fine in HDMI.

I got a Samsung LC32JG50QQNZA Series Curved 32" which is just a little over 2 years old (and therefore, out of warranty). It's connected to a EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Super Black Gaming GPU along with two other monitors, one connected to HDMI and another connected to another DP. Image: You can...

Connecting two hard drives via enclosure to TPLink Router (It can only detect one)

Is it possible to tie a 2nd drive to the first into one volume without the need for reformatting? If not, that's fine... just means I'll need to find another drive just to transfer data over.

Connecting two hard drives via enclosure to TPLink Router (It can only detect one)

That seems like a good idea, I might try to turn these two hard drives into a spanned volume and see if that works. Although, it would mean I'd have to move the data from the first drive somewhere else first. Is there any other method you would suggest for this?

Connecting two hard drives via enclosure to TPLink Router (It can only detect one)

I got a Mediasonic ProBox Hard Drive Enclosure that can carry up to 4 hard drives, right now I have 2 3TB hard drives inside the thing. When I plug it directly into any computer, the hard drives are detected quite easily. I tried plugging this Enclosure into my Archer C9 TPlink Router to work...

Windows 7 Memory Diagnostics detected "Hardware problems" with new RAM

Tried to run my 1066mhz memory at its highest speed, kept getting BSOD, so I switched it back to 800mhz. It's still good memory, but I've wish I could use it at top speed. Perhaps my motherboard wasn't made for it :(

Brand New Memory effecting Display Driver making games lock up?

Actually I just tried it at 800mhz. Seems like it works perfectly. But the downside is not being able to use the 1066 mhz to its full potential.

Brand New Memory effecting Display Driver making games lock up?

I have run Windows Diagnostic Memory and it has found no problems with the memory sticks.

Brand New Memory effecting Display Driver making games lock up?

I replaced my 4 1gb sticks of Corsair 667mhz pc2 5300 to a OCZ Reaper HPC 4 2gb 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500). Upon the playing of games, most games I would try would result in freezing and eventually crashing my computer. The error message "The Display Driver has stopped...

Windows 7 Memory Diagnostics detected "Hardware problems" with new RAM

Seems to me that the computer has found quite a few errors (at the time, it's been finding some more since I took the picture): http://i.imgur.com/Fcliq.jpg So, both tests show that something could be wrong with the RAM. Would it be defective, or is the brand the problem with these tests...

Windows 7 Memory Diagnostics detected "Hardware problems" with new RAM

Hang on, just realized that I may have been trying another version of memtest86, I will be trying this model right now. http://www.memtest.org/#downiso

Windows 7 Memory Diagnostics detected "Hardware problems" with new RAM

I have tried to run Memtest86. The version 3.5 doesn't support anything over 4gb. The 3.4a which DOES apparently doesn't support 64-bit Windows. Windows Memory Diagnostic has so far been the only thing I've found to have worked. Is there any other way to test if my memory is a potential problem?

Windows 7 Memory Diagnostics detected "Hardware problems" with new RAM

Bought the PNY PC2-5300 2x2gb memory sticks to accompany my two corsair 1gb sticks next to them for a sum of 6 gb of ram. They worked fine, didn't seem to find any problems with them, no freezes or anything and my Windows 7 64-bit system detected them just fine. Problem is that I ran a memory...
