    Question Is my psu dying?

Hi all, I've been having a problem with the sleep function of my pc: If I let it go into sleep mode or manually switch it to sleep and it stays like that for a significant period of time, upon waking it via keyboard or mouse, it will shut off after a second. It will then turn on manually again...

[SOLVED] Cooler compatability (what is this connector/socket?)

Hey guys, I'm getting an i7-4970k for Christmas and want an adequate air cooler and heatsink to go along with it. Currently though, I am worried about compatibility. I have a stock Tc-Acer 605 air cooler that never lets my temps go above 42-45 C during gaming/streaming and idles around 32 C. I'd...

[SOLVED] Hexagon driver for GTX 1650?

GPU situation: View: http://imgur.com/a/6qBojOe I've measured and remeasured. The more compact 1650 by Zotac will fit, but the bracket is far too big for this terrible back portion of the case. I might need to get a new case if the bracket is absolutely unremovable.

[SOLVED] Compatible front panels with Corsair CX Series 550 ?

Ok so a bit of an important update. The Power button and front panel connections are NOT connected to the PSU, they're connected to the Mother Board for sure. I thought they were because the last time I opened my case, the actual cables were very hard to spot and differentiate from each other...

[SOLVED] Hexagon driver for GTX 1650?

https://www.acer.com/ac/en/KH/content/model/DT.SRQST.039 Found the specifics here. Case is Height 380.5 mm Width 175 mm Depth 413.7 mm Main issue is the back doesn't have removable/openable I/O plates, so I have to take the low profile brackets off any cards I own. From what I can gather...

[SOLVED] Hexagon driver for GTX 1650?

Hello all, Happy New Year. I am looking to buy a GTX 1650 from ZOTAC. I am looking for a driver tool that allows me to remove the bracket from the card. I already own a nice driver kit that comes with a bunch of different heads that I can use to unscrew the bottom screws from the card, but from...

[SOLVED] Compatible front panels with Corsair CX Series 550 ?

Hi guys, I am in the process of looking for a new front panel USB 3.0/Power Button that is compatible with my desired PSU. My current panel is about 6 inches/15.25 cm long and includes 2 USB slots, a headset and microphone jack and the power button. I would just buy the same one, but it is...

[SOLVED] Anyone got info on the ARESGAME 650W Power Supply?

So I recently started having trouble with my PC. It's been randomly shutting down only to turn back on instantly and I am 99% sure it's because of a faulty power supply (that was never good to begin with) and even faultier power switch. My PC is a prebuilt from 2015 with a lowly GT 1030 that can...

Question If my motherboard specs say it only supports 800Mhz RAM speeds, does that mean that installing a 1600Mhz stick of 8GB ram will result in half speed?

That makes so much sense. So I would be fine with two 16GB sticks as long as they're DDR3? I know I really should be looking for DDR4 Mobos at this day-in-age, but I'm currently taking baby steps as I don't have the money to buy many parts at once.
