Hello all, Happy New Year.

I am looking to buy a GTX 1650 from ZOTAC. I am looking for a driver tool that allows me to remove the bracket from the card. I already own a nice driver kit that comes with a bunch of different heads that I can use to unscrew the bottom screws from the card, but from looking at the comments on Amazon, it seems that you also need a hexagonal driver to remove hexagonal portions on the side of the bracket in order to dismount it.

The card in question: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0881YZJ4...olid=1K9892VA08V8Q&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

I am buying this card because I have limited space in my case and MB. I would like to be able to remove the bracket just to be sure there are no issues. Thanks in advance!

I've measured and remeasured. The more compact 1650 by Zotac will fit, but the bracket is far too big for this terrible back portion of the case. I might need to get a new case if the bracket is absolutely unremovable.
The PCI slot covers in you case are meant to be broken out for use.
Carefully bend them back and forth a couple times and they will fall out.
Really cheap cases use this method to save money.
Now your card will fit without removing the bracket.
How limited is limited? Often times a limitation in one aspect of a case means that other aspects are also...limited, meaning you need to make more compromises. So if you will, what is the make and model of the case? I'm sure that buying a new case would actually be a better idea when compared to buying a screwdriver kit with bits in them. Remember, you will void warranty on the card if you modify it in any way, even physically or internally in the BIOS.

Found the specifics here.

Case is

Height
380.5 mm
Width
175 mm
Depth
413.7 mm

Main issue is the back doesn't have removable/openable I/O plates, so I have to take the low profile brackets off any cards I own. From what I can gather, Zotac does intend to allow the bracket to be removeable, but those hex bolts on the front require an appropriate tool
