Question Monitor won’t stay on for more than a second ?

My Monitor won’t stay on for more than a second. I have tried different cables, different outlets, DVI, HDMI, my PC(which it is used for), an Xbox, and a Laptop. I have also tried having it plugged into nothing, same issue. It started with one Moniter, I had used it for a while and then suddenly, it just happened. I got a used Moniter for free and I used it for a couple months, and today, it just happened again. I really am on my last hope here. I don’t want to buy a new Moniter just for the same problem to happen. Any solutions?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

List of all connected peripherals.

Wired or wireless network?

Make and model monitor?

The monitor's behavior may explain why it was given away....

It was my second monitor, and was given to me by my grandfather. I dont believe that my actual PC has anything to do with it, because of the fact it doesn’t work on other devices as well, but not sure. It’s a 600W EVGA PSU
I’m running windows 11 pro
I’m on a wireless network and they are two different monitors

"the fact it [monitor] doesn’t work on other devices as well, but not sure." (My bold.)

Very likely that that does indeed exclude the PC as a culprit per se.

However, without some insight or knowledge (specs) of the PC then there will be always be some doubt.

Likewise for the make and model of the monitors and how they are connected (power, video, audio) to the host computer.

Connecting a second monitor, new or otherwise, may simply be a repeat of whatever has happened.

Hopefully that will not happen and is overall unlikely.

I am always concerned when any device stops working and have found it worth the effort to discover the reason(s).
