Today I had another go. Had an older power supply (OCZ780MXS) and gave that a go.
Ran ok as others did, but oddly when I connected the S-ATA power cable it posted, but I did notice a very small puff of smoke from the power connector to the SSD. So I shut it down. Tried a HDD and that seemed ok...

Also, I am using a EVGA Supernova 750 G3.
Same issue for both.
