Replacing Realtek Onboard audio with Creative SBX X-Fi Soundcard

Should be obvious, IF it is there...just a toggle on/off for onboard sound (like onboard video). The bios for a Dell is fairly simplistic with less options (to mess up your PC) so it may not be there. You may also want to check/update your bios version. Also check for drivers from the...

Replacing Realtek Onboard audio with Creative SBX X-Fi Soundcard

You enter the bios when you turn on your computer. Look at the Dell splash screen as it boots up, it'll tell you which key to press. Hold down the Del or F2 or F12 key during the boot process. If Windows boots up, you were too late, try again - you have only a few seconds before Win boots to...

Can you change the WHOLE PCI Slot Cover Set of a PC Case?

Some cases have PCI slot covers that are removable, and you can put them back in if the slot is not in use. Other cases have "blanks" that you pry or twist off that cannot be put back. Looks like you have a combination of both. The perpendicular slot cover is actually a clamp that will hold all...

Added EFI Shell, now no BIOS/UEFI, no beeps, no video

Your MB has a backup BIOS - have you tried that yet? Switch the bios jumper to the backup. If it boots up, then copy the backup to replace the main bios. Then switch the bios jumper back to the main.

Installing Windows 10 on new SSD and reusing HDD?

Was the old HDD your OS drive? Since you're preparing to reinstall your programs on your new SSD, you should go ahead and wipe the HDD. If your old OS was on it, wiping will clear any old partitions and also avoid any potential registry issues. No need to waste time uninstalling stuff on the...

    do I need thermal paste

The CRYORIG H7 Tower Cooler comes with its own proprietary paste - "CP9 CRYO-Paste". Comes in a syringe applicator...looks like a good amount for multiple applications. The performance is probably between their CP7 and CP15 pastes that they sell separately.

    Newegg RMA process

Looks like you got DDR4-3000 ram and your MB only supports it when OC'd: "Supports DDR4 3000+(OC)*/2933+(OC)/2800(OC)/2400 (OC)/2133/1866/1600/1333/1066 non-ECC, un-bufered memory" So up to DDR4-2133 would have worked out-of-the-box, but anything above requires some BIOS tweaking. Wait for your...

    SSD: Lower performance than expected

Do you have your single SSD connected to either SATA port #6 or #7 on your MB? - looks like only those are SATA III, #1-5 are only SATA II.

Can i make a old drive to a new one?

Just format the old drive and you'll be ok. The only issues are that the old drive has a slow SATA I interface, and being an old mechanical drive, its days are numbered...

Windows could not load properly after disk cleanup

You could do a clean reinstall of Windows 10 with a Win10 installation USB drive or DVD with the media creation tool (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO) but I don't know if you'll be able to save your files (I usually do a clean wipe of everything).
