I am getting a 6600k i5 processor and a CRYORIG H7 Tower Cooler For AMD/Intel CPU's and my case is
Enermax Ostrog GT ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with Acrylic See-Thru Side Panel ECA3280A-BL Black/Blue.

should I get thermal paste as well?
what about extra fans?

Solution
as far as i remember is you are getting an aftermarket cpu cooler it probably has its own thermal paste still if you think you arent sure of that try and investigate or get a good thermal paste if you feel better that way

davmazin nailed it.
It doesn't natter is it aftermarket cooler or not. Even if it's a box one if it's new it has to have paste already applied or in some small package. If it's applied then there will be only 1 attempt for mounting tho. With aftermarket coolers they almost always give a small package of the past which should be fine for 2-3 attempts. Obviously using paste is a must, otherwise overheating is almost guaranteed.

I would recommend Antec Formula 7 Nano-Diamond thermal compound if you can get it in your area. For what I've seen, it seems equivalent if not slightly better than IC7. But yes, as the others have said, thermal paste is a must.

The CRYORIG H7 Tower Cooler comes with its own proprietary paste - "CP9 CRYO-Paste". Comes in a syringe applicator...looks like a good amount for multiple applications. The performance is probably between their CP7 and CP15 pastes that they sell separately.
