Question What gpu can I buy for this build

The 1070 ti draws 180W, so any other gpu with same or lower power consumption will fit If you are buying a GPU i would HIGHLY recommend buying new one. For example the best price-performance gpu you can get new is the RX 6600 (non-XT), its affordable and gives better perfomance than a GTX 1080...

One of my friends' laptop has recently got into a problem, saying it has suddenly slowed down massively and is barely usable. She gave it to me to try and fix it, and as soon as i boot it up, open task manager to check for any bloatware running in the background, i notice that it's HDD is at...

    Question RAM compatibility

My pc's typical task is entertainment: games, movies, etc. If 32 GB will be enough for the next 5-6 years, then it's even better! I can simply buy an additional 2x8GB kit and invest the saved money on a future GPU or more storage. Thanks for the advice, appreciate it! :D

Question My gtx 1060 is crashing at 60ºC (140ºF)

Since it's a used 1060, chances are it was used for mining. And miners usually install a modified BIOS specifically for that task, which is notorious for causing issues with games. There's plenty of tutorials on how to restore the oringinal BIOS on a mining card, try to see if thats the issue on...

[SOLVED] GPU crashing mid-game (not overheating)

Actually, i managed to solve this by clean-reinstalling the GPU driver. Even if its a low quality 750W PSU, im sure powering a 65W CPU (10400) and a 160W GPU isn't overburdening it. Anyway, thank you for your time. Cheers (y)
