    Question i5-9400 or Ryzen 5 3400G?

Hey there! I'm planning to get an ASRock DeskMini for small level server uses like video rendering and game server hosting, so I can free up a gaming laptop for my normal use. It's size makes it very desirable for my work, as I can bring it with my travels if I ever need it. It's a great...

Does this R9 290X support CrossFire?

Hello, So recently, i saw an R9 290X with a great discount, i was interested more towards it. I have never got a successful multiple GPU setup so i have some questions. First of all, i understand that a single powerful card is better then planning to buy 2 cards, but the R9 290X was once...

    start up issue

Re-formatting usually fixes a lot of problems, just that you lose so much in the process... Well post a screenshot if your computer can still actually run, if it can you probably didn't delete something as important as the Windows folder.

    What does Atx/Micro Atx means

ATX is normal form, M-ATX means Mini/Micro ATX, pretty much a bit smaller, because, if it's a big case, why can't it fit a small one? It can fit either motherboard, but like chenw said, not both at once.

Is there a difference between CrossFire and CrossFireX in hardware?

Dammit, these prices would kill. :/ I was thinking of buying those 2 cards just to save on price, i'm not looking for enthusiast grade cards, in fact 30FPS is already good to me. Maybe something better then 650s, but still cheaper then the ISS? Of course i'm sarcastic about the ISS part.

What's the most advanced CPU I can run on the GA-X48-DS4 motherboard?

Wow, that board is still using DDR2, and DDR4 makes me feel outdated... http://www.cpu-world.com/Sockets/Socket%20775%20%28LGA775%29.html Xeons are server grade CPUs, don't know if they'll work normally though.

Is there a difference between CrossFire and CrossFireX in hardware?

So, a few months ago i spent a lot of money upgrading my PC, i found this motherboard on retail; http://www.gigabyte.my/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4594#sp So it looks good and hey, why not? I was a NVIDIA fan but then after online research a few days later, i noticed that it's impossible...
