i Am now entirely sure that my problem is caused by either my Graphics card or drivers as the problem didn't happen whilst they were uninstalled? is it the drivers or the actual card itself?

I recently had to reinstall Windows due to an unknown driver issue and i was expexting to have to re-download everything, such as all of my games on steam. However al of this is saved in the windows old folder. How do i get them back? do I have to download steam and it will automatically detect...

before I re-install windows, is there any chance this could be a CPU thing? or would a CPU failure give a blue screen?

I have just done all of that but to still no avail. when in safe mode the crashes don't happen which should mean that it's a driver issu, shouldn't it?

at the moment i have and Nvidia geforce 650 graphics card, and i wanted to upgrade' but because im an idiot i dont entirely know if my motherboard will support the graphics card i want (Nvidia geforce 770). my motherboard is an Asus M5A87-GLM so will this support a 770?
