    I was able to fix this issue by updating my bios through a modding that I found which basically enabled support for NVMe drives. Thanks for trying to help me though really appreciate it, which made me realise the issue.

    Well you were saying that my motherboard is too old for this type of SSD. Does this mean I have to buy a different one in order for my bios to be able to detect it? Sorry Im not really experienced into these things.

    Your reply is not correct. I installed Windows on the correct drive but the drive isn't shown in the bios boot options.

    I have a Gigabyte G1 Sniper B6 motherboard. I tried installing a new M.2 SSD but it doesn't appear in the BIOS boot menu even though I have already installed Windows on it as the Windows installer detected it no problem.
