If Tesla M10 installed, this so-called "update" happens each time. Just after plug-off Tesla, I have the same issue. But multiple reboots, disable-enable USB drives usually help. Than system boots as usual Oracle Linux 9, but I think, it doesn't matter, because system can't finish POST...

Short answer: it not happens, but after specific manipulations. Long answer: If I plug it off, it still happens, but if I multiple times switch off PC, disable/enable USB drives, the system boots as usual. Once I plugin-in Nvidia Tesla M10, it always in stuck in the booting process with this...

I'm owner of INTEL SSDPEK1W120GA. And I can say, it's very sad that they killed optane. Why? Because I use this drive for SWAP for host system and VMs. And it's very first time in my life when I never see out-of-memory things... Optane has latency in about 10 times less than just normal nvme...
