apparently csgo's engine converts mouse movement into an angle at which the player will turn, so the crosshair won't actually count the number of pixels it has to travel. This way the sensitivity will stay the same no matter what resolution. Don't know about other games tho

so the top right screwhole on the aorus master z390 did not align with the top right standoff on the corsair 570x.
