I have R9 290 tri x and really happy with it, it far better than 280x have core clock speed of 1000mhz and mem. clock speed of 1300mhz but it can be oc'd to 1200 core and 1500 mem easily with 200 vddc offset and 100 power limit on tri x utility and tri x keeps it cool on max out with custom fan...

I have same card and purchased cooler master elite mid tower but modified it by cutting a middle bay and no problems because my hdd and ssd easily fitted inside bottom bay. BUt for you buy any cooler master top tower cabinet.
