Now running 8b corsair (4x2) and running great thanks everyone!

I have a Dell Optiplex 760 slim case and I am running an XFX R7-250 2gb (with a low profile bracket), and 8gb Corsair DDR2 ram; kept the stock 255w psu, and running flawlessly for gaming.

I have read numerous articles about overclocking this processor. I havent found anything on doing it with the stock mobo though. So, with that being said..... Will upgrading to a modern mobo and DDR3 (from DDR2)ram increase my fps before overclocking? And what would be a good suggestion for an...

I have a Dell Optiplex 760 slim case design, which requires the use of a low profile graphics card. Keeping the stock mobo, processor (2.6-3.0), 8gb Corsair ram (4x2), and Raedon HD7750. I can't find anything beyond a 350w power supply. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I can only go up to 8gb of RAM and have 66% of my responses suggesting a two 4gb set up.. My PC is a Dell Optiplex 760, factory mobo, running Raedon HD 7750 low profile graphics card, factory processor (Core Duo @ 2.6-3.0). What is the fastest RAM i should get... should I try to match the mobo...

Right now it is running two 1gb sticks... there are two white slots (being used) and two black slots (empty). There seems to be mixed opinions on whether to run two 4's or four 2's. The manual cited running two 4's, but was wondering if there was a better way for gaming performance...
