I use 2 sticks of 256 Kingmaxx PC2700 in my pc. It's rated at CL2.5 but I had hoped I could tweak it up to CL2.0. Unfortunately it is [-peep-] and can't hack the more aggressive timing. The best I can get stable is 2.5,3,3,6.I even upped the voltage to 2.7v and it managed to barely boot windows...
I just built up my first pc from scratch a few days ago. The mainboard is an Asus P4S533. Everything works perfect except for one annoying problem.
When I shut down via Windows, everything powers down except for an L.E.D light situated amongst the PCI slots. Also my infra-red mouse stays lit up...

This thread is actually not concerning the P4 but the Athlon Xp cpu.
I too wanted to build my system using this chipset. But after contacting the VIA distributor here in Australia I decided against it as he could not commit to when it would be available.
