Anyone have any insight on when we might see a motherboard manufactured with the VIA P4X333 chipset? I'm about to rebuild my system with a P4 2.26 533... and would like a motherboard that will support DDR 333/2700 and ATA 133 (also, 8x AGP is nice).

Thanks for any information.

P4X333 outperforms nearly every other DDR mobo for the P4 on the street. The only bad part is that there are currently issues with th existing AGP 8x cards(SiS's Xabre series) and the P4X. 4x cards work fine, though it may be an SiS/VIA issue. I would go for it, personally.

I too wanted to build my system using this chipset. But after contacting the VIA distributor here in Australia I decided against it as he could not commit to when it would be available.
