I managed to get it working by installing the updated version of my BIOS off of gigabytes support page for my motherboard The old bios was version f4 and it was unsupported, after upgrading to f10 everything works perfectly, thanks everyone for your help

The best you will ever do as of now, is to look for super sales where monitors like the Acer GN246HL go on sale for $180. For around $210-300 you can find a used Qnix qx2710 Evolution ii, these are korean PLS monitors that will overclock close to 120hz. You can search for deals here...

Do Not Buy!! The connectors attaching the cups to the headphone strap are extremely fragile! Mic is decent-ish... Sound feels like a hack though.
