Hey i was wondernig whats new with this new cleartype PowerToy from microsoft? apparently its an updated version? it seems that the colours around the letters are harder to see now, but maybe its just a placebo effect? anyone know?

Im swapping my MSI K7T266 pro2 with an asus kt800 board.. and the cpu from amd 1600 to 2600... do i need to reinstall windows? if so, whats the least hassle, seeing as i dont wanna change anything cept the mobo and cpu

i have a creative 4224 cdrw, which has a max reading speed of 24x... but when i use Nero CD speed benchmark, it maxes out at 16x... ive tried cleaning the lens with a cleaner, and messing around with settings but no change.. any ideas?!?!
