Yeah that is the plan. I was just curious if there was a better way to do it. Also, do I need to remove windows 8 from the HDD since the key is already activated on it? I've never done this before so I'm confused. Could you give me a quick step by step guide on what order I should do everything?

I agree that sound cards are really only for people that are insanely picky or are creating high-end music, etc. My onboard 7.1 sounds GREAT through my $40 speaker system. lol

Even at stock frequencies, the 3570k is totally capable of running a 780. If you're having problems, there is something else going on here.

My apologies. Novuake is correct. They are fine for a budget, but they are somewhat weak. If you plan on sticking with the CX series, a 750w would be a good choice. More realistically, you will want something 600w or higher from a really reputable brand like Seasonic or Corsair's higher end models.

Somehow I totally missed the "CX" portion of this post...
