You should have cloned your hdd to your ssd, shut down your pc, unplugged your hdd, rebooted into BIOS and selected the SSD as boot device. You could have then re-added your hdd and formatted it. Everything would have been copied over.

The 2700 doesn't have on board graphics so no point plugging the monitor into the motherboard. To the OP make sure your monitor is plugged into your GPU and that the power cable from your PSU (6 or 8 pin) is fitted to your GPU. You can also try the GPU in the 2nd pcie slot to see if that works.

That board should never be used with an 8350, the vrms just weren't designed for the 125w CPUs and cause all sorts of power problems. The 8350 really needs a decent 970fx or preferably a 990fx motherboard.
