So I'm currently building my new PC and im planning to boot windows from a USB stick while also reusing my SSD.

So my question is: will it automatically boot from the USB as opposed to my SSD which also has windows on it so i can wipe it then and there, or do I have to wipe it before, and if thats the case how do i wipe the SSD if its currently the only bootdrive running on my other PC.

Since this is not covered in much detail in the above tutorial, will mention how to access the boot menu in the BIOS:

Most BIOS have a key to hit to access the "boot menu" (e.g. Award BIOS uses F11, example here) so just hit F11 to force your PC to boot off of your USB stick.

Also, I have to mention this awesome utility - Ventoy

I am using it on a 64Gb USB3 stick, when you run it and format a USB with it, it will allow you to simply drag-and-drop the ISO you want to boot to the USB disk, and you can put as many as can fit on the USB and it will give you a menu of which ISO you want to boot up - so I have several linux flavors, Vmware ESX (mainly for work installs on servers) as well as the latest Win 10 2004 release.
