I was just wondering about the most correct way to go about this. I know I won't damage anything, but I was wondering if I'm screwing my frame times or something doing this.

Sorry for the late reply, but the problem solved itself after updating to the lastest build of W10 Insider. I guess some critical files and/or registry entries got messed up after that driver failure. Gave it a few days before reporting back, but ended up completely forgetting about it, lol...

I can confirm that the RAM kit replacement solved all my problems. Have been slamming the PC hard for two weeks now with games, editing and anything else. Rock solid once again. Thanks everyone, this was a tough nut to crack!

Update (good news, I think): testing each RAM module with Prime95's Blend test gave seemingly conclusive results: - Stick 1 alone: reboot/freeze after 2-3 minutes. - Stick 2 alone: no problems, left running for over an hour. - Stick 1 + 2: reboot/freeze after 2-3 minutes. - Stick 2 alone...

Update: got two reboots while browsing Chrome without load. Hasn't happened before. Whatever it is, it seems to be getting worse.

Update: tried switching from the usual XMP OC profile for my RAM sticks to default settings in the BIOS and manually setting DRAM to 2133mhz. No reboots or freezes after an hour of gaming and editing. I will test it further and come back with the results. Dunno if I'm just lucky, as this issue...

Quick update: PC reboots or freezes after 1-2 minutes when running the Prime95 In-place Large FTTs and Blend tests. Small FTTs one doesn't seen to bring it down.
