I’ve restarted my PC, so I’m only using 6GB of RAM right now, this is only using chrome for Netflix. Everything is up to date, latest BIOS aswell. No overclocks or XMP. I think it’s just when I let my PC run for too long without a restart.
I’ve done the full system virus scan using Bitdefender, my PC is safe. I think it’s just a thing of background processing using as much memory as it likes.
I have 32GB of RAM installed at the moment. I used to have 24GB and it would use 17GB of RAM when I was just on netflix. Didn’t know background processes just used as much RAM as it wanted to. I also thought that viewing the user RAM usage was accurate?
Hey guys
Over the last 2 weeks I've been noticing my PC has been using way too much RAM than it should be. I restart every 3 days so that I can reset my RAM usage. I'm not sure what could be causing it as my programs aren't using much and my profile isn't using much either, any help?
Please...
Yeah no that isn't the problem. These are surprisingly still capable systems and have never been overclocked, cleaned out on a regular basis aswell. It just sems as if the Mobo only wants 3.2GB of RAM.
Hi guys, so today I switched systems with a user in my workplace. They complained of recently slow performance in Maya. Turns out that PC only has access to 3.2GB of RAM. I have tried everything online. I have made sure the maximum memory box is unchecked. I changed the 'ClearPageFileAtShutdown'...
Well it does have 2 USB cables coming from it, but they are obviously in different USB ports. Thing is that I have used 4 different keyboard and mouse combinations and none of them work. Some RGB other plain old office peripherals.
So I discovered the reason my keyboard stops working after I boot into windows is because my ports are not getting enough power. I discovered this by using an externally powered USB Hub. I have tried updating the drivers a they have the yellow warning next to them, problem is that I cannot...
I’ve trued about 3 times to do a fresh install. 3 different flash drives and reinstalled windows media creation tool thrice. Everytime it seems to complete and then get’s followed up by an error message saying ‘installation file corrupted blah blah blah’. Anyone know any kind of solution?
My keyboard and mouse are confirmed working, across multiple machines.
All components are the same besides the motherboard and PSU. Same RAM, same CPU, same Keyboard and Mouse, same SSD and same GPU.
I'm going to try and do a fresh install of windows now.
