Hi! I`m here to share the outcome of this history... The kits worked together like a charm! No config needed. I just installed them and now i have 2+2+2+2 @ 6-6-6-18. No problems so far.

It could be better to pick a low end 4th gen I5, but the I3 is fine.... Also, a single 8GB RAM stick would mean that you cand upgrade easily to 16GB in the future. The performance loss is negligible next to the convinience of such an easy upgrade.
