Yeah, just remove all that stuff for the moment. The orange light is a general indication that something is wrong with the ram. In my case it was that the bios didn't support it.

Im not sure if you have solved it, but i had the same issue with the same motherboard with a 5900x. Turns out updating the bios to the latest (beta in my case) fixed the issue. It seemed to be an issue with slightly incompatible ram with the version of bios that came flashed on the boad.

i found and fixed the problem with windows install usb not loading. apparently i forgot to turn my overclocks off.

well, i tried to reset my pc 3 times, it kept faling at that also tried installing windows 10 with the usb, that wouldnt load the files. so, i dont know?

i made a second local account. and the probelms still persisted. and took over 10 restarts to get back in. also the mouse pointer is wierd in the lock screen. it is the same as the one in the windows standard not the systerm default.

i think the normal crucial, sticks ar fine(i personally have them and have had no problems), otherwise kingston would also be very good.

basically go with, crucial, kingston, and corsair.

well, tbh, you wont really notice the difference in speeds. you are way better off getting a faster cpu than faster ram. yes it is worth getting a 4690k now. it is still an excellent cpu.
