Thanks for the replies, i'd like to have a powerful computer to handle anything i throw at it with portability. Right now i have a laptop with a AMD E-2 3800 (4GB RAM, 1GB usable) and the CPU goes to 99% when i try to load a 1440p or 1080 60fps YouTube video - also when i have say 7 or 8 taps...
I'm looking for a good performance laptop / gaming, with an i7, at least 8 GB of RAM, at least a 4 GB graphics card, Gigabit Ethernet and AC WiFi. Some applications id like to use without slowdowns / lag: Photoshop and video editing software. And for gaming, possibly GTA V. As for price, around...
it could be that your cable going to the router is getting split, meaning having too many off connections(to tvs) before going to the router. causing it to not work
i have the same router but im not experiencing those problems. You may have to port forward some ports, meaning it connects to the game servers better. google: how to open ports for.. (xbox one or steam). I'd get rid of the airport extreme but that's just me
the extender is probably dying, best to get a new one. i have the same extender you have, the TP-Link, but it was slow for me only 14 mbps. i got a netgear ex2700 and i get 30+ mbps like i would from my main router. how fast is your internet...
if you have an android you can download an app called WiFi analyzer and it tells you the strength of the signal. i had that same extender and it would max out at 14 mbps but my router would get out 25-35 mbps. i had better results with a netgear extender (NETGEAR N300 Wi-Fi Range Extender...
the metal roof will block some signal if not all. how is t-mobiles coverage in your area? for $70 you could get unlimited 4G LTE data with 3g speeds for tethering or for $95 unlimited 4G LTE data and unlimited 4G LTE tethering (On all plans, during congestion the top 3% of data users (>28GB/mo.)...
you can get Verizon plans on eBay, but its $150 a month and your leasing the line.
this company offers unlimited data through all the major carriers, each one is different prices, Verizon the most expensive ($250) and sprint the cheapest ($100)
these are a bit expensive to me, because im...
i forgot my password for the Comcast router (model number TG1682G) because every time i went to go into the setting it told me to change the password. i finally did and now i don't remember it.. is there any way i can retrieve the password?
$60 for 15mbps?? that's a rip off! im with Comcast and have 150mbps down and 10mbps up for $90. i also have Verizon Fios available, thinking about switching because Verizon's upload matches their download 150/150, Also Verizon is $20 cheaper. Anyway, it sounds like a very good deal
